Being asked to take a personality test usually means one long form, one type at the end, and no idea who sees it. TIGER is one framework that becomes three different sittings, and each one says who starts it, who reads it, and what it may be used for.

What this page explains
TIGER is the framework: five readings of how a person tends to work. The thing a person actually sits is TIGER Light, TIGER Core or TIGER Student. This page explains what each one is for, what a sitting is built from, and the rules that travel with it. If you want the three side by side with every number, that is on the TIGER assessment page.

Light can help you understand yourself. TIGER Core can be used to make decisions about you. They are not two prices for one assessment. They are two products with different starting points and different permitted uses. Student is TIGER Core plus a reading of what a person is drawn to.

For a decision somebody else has to make: hiring, promotion, placement, development. Only the person making that decision starts one. What a sitting is built from
The same words for everyone.
Every question is written once and asked the same way of every person. That is the whole difference from an interview, and it is what makes two people comparable.Questions written for each reading.
Nothing is estimated from something else. The personality side is measured with its own questions, and so is the working-style side.Asked twice, in TIGER Core.

About 10 minutes for Light, about 15 for TIGER Core and between 15 and 30 for Student, often less. Answers save as you go. It asks for somewhere quiet where you can think clearly, not a desk.First instinct, honestly.
There are no right answers and no pass mark, so there is nothing to work out. The report is better when you do not try.
Example
A worked example
An invented example. A company in Nashik has three people on a shortlist for a role that runs long projects with little supervision. The three interviews went well, and the two founders disagree about who was best. One of them orders a TIGER Core for each candidate and names the decision as hiring. Each candidate gets an invitation, finds a quiet quarter of an hour, and answers the same 48 questions on a phone.
Two days later the founders have three readings of Grit and Execution laid side by side, read the same way, with a range on each, and plain questions worth asking each person in the final round. Two of the candidates overlap on Execution, so they are shown as level, not as first and second. The founders still argue. But now they argue about something they can both see, and afterwards they can say why they chose.
Each candidate keeps their own report for good. The company’s access runs for 90 days and then locks. Nobody was turned down by a number, because there is no number that can.
Limits
What it does not do
Light is not a preview.
It covers all five readings. What differs from TIGER Core is the depth of questioning, the depth of the report, and what the result may be used for.A candidate cannot buy their own TIGER Core.
TIGER Core exists for a decision somebody else has to make, so the person making that decision opens it. It stays clear who asked, and what for.Nobody ever sees your Light.
Light is dashboard only. It lives with you, and it is not a report an employer or a college opens.Interests are never a hiring signal.
